If you are going to install one or more subwoofers inside your wall(s), you want to do it right. This requires an enclosed in wall sub and plenty of clean amplifier power to deliver the deep bass with minimal distortion. This page features in wall subwoofer and matching sub amplifier pairs.
The SpeakerCraft Cinema Sub 12 (pictured right) and Sub 10 Powered In-Wall Subwoofer System packages include an in wall sub, an enclosure, and a component subwoofer amplifier.
Pictured below in the left column are enclosed in wall subs from Definitive Technology, Klipsch, Niles, and Velodyne, and to the right of each is the matching amp, packaged and sold separately.
You will need to run a subwoofer cable from the LFE sub output on back of your home theater receiver to the sub amp, and in-wall speaker wire from the sub amplifier to the in wall subwoofer. |
